A Birthday Journey

A tag I made for my friend Robyn's birthday. She was a bit of a jet setter in days past and like me has a doll obsession, so I hope she likes this one.

The background paper, bike, pocket and tag are all from Aldi - Creative PL. The doll is Audrey, her dress is K&Co as is the handbag.

Art Journal - January

This is the latest journal page, done today (can you believe it - 2 posts in one day!!!)- can feel those creative juices flowing:

and I am a huge fan of the Inca Gold paints and texture pastes. I am also a huge fan of using up stuff I've had in my stash for ages:

Making Memories paint (at least 8 years old)
stencils I've had for years, stencils I've recently acquired
pens I've had for years - black zig marker, white uniball
old papers, newer papers (but all off cuts from other projects)
newish Tim Holtz teacup die
old twinkling H2O's

Art Journal Catchup

Due to the inconvenience of being in isolation in November (yet another lot of RAI) I missed the art journal class. With some guidance from my friend who did attend, I managed to knock up my version of it the other day, so I'm all caught up for the class today (I will post that once done).

Happy with the result - great to get the creative juices flowing again. (Just looking at it - think I need to add some script to one of the girls....to be continued)

Starry Starry Night

As promised, these are some of the Christmas cards I sent out last year. While each scene was different, they were all along the same lines - snow globe with stars. If I had time, there are things I would have done differently, but was overall happy with the end result.

Happy New Year

Well it seems I missed December (my blog did anyway). I had another round of RAI in November and then went straight into end of year stuff and suddenly here we are in a brand new year. The last one did not end on a high note, but we have hopes that this year will be better.

Here are some of the cards I made but did not post (here) late last year (my very few Christmas cards will be shown in the next post):

my mum's birthday (she turned 85)

For the ballet teacher
