May Layout

Remember how I was slowly getting back into scrapbooking again, doing a layout a month so there was no pressure....here is my May layout. Still very simple, but loving the therapy.

more card catchup

Whew...I must admit I am a bit shell shocked to come home to hustle & bustle after the nice quiet time away (you gotta look on the bright side - right?). The girls still have to keep their distance for a bit, but it is getting better and I am busy catching up not only on my card postings but my emails & internet feeds as I was without both for the time I was away, same as last year.

So here are some more cards to catch you up.....(if you ever want to know what products I've used, just ask)

A card a day returns

Well I am back and have spent the last 10 days making cards, cards and more cards (as well as reading lots & watching lots of DVDs). I spent this time at the beach, surrounded by peace & quiet and just looking after me and while it was chilly, there was also lots of winter sunshine. I am glad to be back home, but miss my beach walks and all that ozone.

So get ready as I once again play card catchup....again.....

A card a day - intermission

I knew it was too good to be true. I finally get all caught up with my cards and then whomp. It all comes to a grinding halt. You see, I had my appointment with the Nuclear Medicine department at RNS Hospital and they can get me in next Wed for the RAI ablation. So I won't be posting for a while as I won't have internet access for 2 weeks.

I will however be making plenty of cards while I am in isolation, so will continue with "A card a day" on my return. I am madly getting my books, dvd's and crafting supples all set for my next "retreat". I am glad I am getting the treatment sooner rather than later as that means that life can (hopefully) return to normal sooner. Well that's the theory anyway.
